Classified Storage Protection Certification – GI Bill

This program gives you hands-on instruction on the approved methods of servicing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and certifying GSA Locks, Vaults and Containers. You will also learn the proper means to perform forced entry into GSA Containers. Out of only two schools authorized to teach this information, Lockmasters has the most extensive collection of containers available. Our program is authorized by the GSA and IACSE committee. The objective of the GSA program is to establish standards of training, and to certify those students who meet those standards.

Program Objectives

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Identify security information program specifications including: Federal, Military, DOE, NISPOM, and DoD.

2. Install, service, and change combinations on mechanical combination locks: S & G 2937, Lagard 3330.

3. Install, service, and change combinations on electromechanical combination lock: Kaba Mas X-10 (Factory Certification), S&G 2740B (Factory Certification).

4. Overview of Mas Hamilton X-07, Kaba Mas X-08 and X-09 and 2890B Pedestrian Door Locks.

5. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical combination locks.

6. Operate, service, troubleshoot and maintain GSA Approved Security Containers: File cabinets, map & plan containers, weapons containers and vault doors.

7. Perform neutralization and repair of lockouts, Federal Standard 809.

8. Conduct hands-on drilling techniques for both black and red label security containers.

9. Perform inspection procedures and specification updates.
