Jeff grew up in Southern California where he began his career cutting keys at a local hardware store. In 1989, he earned certificates of Completion and Proficiency in Locksmithing from the Friedman Occupational Center. Over the next 15 years, he refined his craft at local lock shops, Las Vegas hotel casinos, and a wholesale distributor, mastering the intricacies of the trade. Since 2004, Jeff and his wife have owned and operated a thriving locksmith company in Henderson, Nevada catering to residential and commercial customers. A lifelong learner, he continually works on expanding his expertise in the field of locksmithing, access control and safe openings. Sharing his knowledge, he has served as an instructor for the Las Vegas Metro SWAT Team and North Las Vegas SWAT Team on lock picking and bumping techniques.
A consummate professional, Jeff holds a Registered Locksmith (RL) certification from the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), is a member of the Safe and Vault Technicians Association (SAVTA), and is TIDEL certified.
Married for over 35 years, Jeff is a devoted father to three adopted children. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing and teaching the Olympic sport of curling and attending live theater performances. A passionate traveler, he has visited over 23 countries across six continents.
Jeff joined the LSI Team in 2025 to be the lead Locksmith Instructor in our Las Vegas Education Center.
